Kate Morgan, free woman who was born and grew up in Piedmont. Wanting to be her own person, she moved around, traveling and selling her spices. She happened to meet Balen, he brought her to Port Kar. He gave her a choice of payment, she made him a redfruit pie. Turns out, betrayal and lies had her leaving Port Kar, invited by a friend to visit. She took him up on it and is visiting with him and his family. He has offered protection. Things being what they are, she can't thank him enough for his friendship. 

    Will miss a few folks in Port Kar who were always nice to her, including her best friend Seri. She loves her Copper Top friend. 

     Kate sold her 50% of the Spice Lady to Lady Jini Baye. Wishing her the best of luck.
